It’s all about the clouser minnow!
This fly (and its variations) are good for redfish, snook, bonefish and many other kinds of fish. It’s super easy to tie and should certainly be something that you keep in your fly box.
In this video Chris Sexton will demonstrate how he ties a “foxy clouser” minnow.
The “foxy clouser” minnow is so called because it is made from fox. You can always tie this fly from other materials and it will work just as well.
As I said, this fly is great for a number of fish ranging from peacock bass to snook, reds and on. It is not considered difficult to tie and definitely deserves a spot in your box.
The fish in “Peacocks Gone Wild!” all ate clouser minnows.
I hope that you enjoyed this video and blog. If so, stay tuned for more fly tying content coming soon, I have a number of exciting fly and leader tying videos that are both useful and easy!
